Maldives February  15th to 24th 2013

This was my third visit to the Maldives.  This trip organized by Naturetrek was primarily aimed at the Whales, Dolphins and Reef Fish of the waters around the Maldivian Atolls.  Our guides were Jenny Wilsher from Naturetrek and Dr R Charles Anderson a world expert on Marine Biology.

Bandos Island 

This is an island located close to the capital of the Maldives, Mali.  We spent the first night here and managed to snorkel the reef and have a short walk round this major resort island.

Ari Queen 

This Motor vessel enabled the sixteen guests to enjoy comfortable accommodation as we sailed through the atolls north of Mali.
