This town is famous for the now unused Gold mines under the houses.
Built in four years between 1956 and 1960. Some interesting architecture but not to everyone's taste. The Cathedral and Blue Church were worth visiting.
Chapa dos Veadeiros National Park
This park is situated on the highest plain in Brazil and contains a number of impressive waterfalls. The rock crystals found in the park are plentiful and the light reflection can be seen from the moon.
This vast area of wetland harbors a great amount of wildlife.
This trip was only taken by Annastina, Tobias and myself. The two nights spent on the river gave us a great opportunity to see how people live and to enjoy the wildlife of the area.
Many of the photos of the wildlife can be viewed in the Wildlife of Brazil section.
The group spent two nights in the Amazon. One night in hammocks in the jungle.
Many of the photos of the wildlife can be viewed in the Wildlife of Brazil section.
