This trip was made in 2003 soon after Maureen had been in hospital for one of several operations following her cancer and she was on strong pain killers. We flew to Queenstown and toured the south of South Island before hireing a camper van from Christchurch in which we travelled further in the South Island before crossing to the North Island where we toured extensively.
