My trip was organized by Travel with Joules. The main interest for this trip was to swim with Whale Sharks. Unfortunately due to the violent storm on my arrival the seas remained rough and the floating fresh water layer kept the fish out of site! However the Lodges were good and at Chole the snorkeling was good and there were a few bird species to compensate. At Saadani the weather was a factor again with the river unable to be crossed when I came to leave resulting in at least three hours extra drive. I managed some good wildlife pictures despite this.
